what i did on my summer holidays
(this is, like, massively late, so if it sounds weird or anything, its coz im remembering it from a while ago).
okay, so i got invited this summer to go to france with my best friend Anna, and her family. as we didnt have a holiday planned this year my parents were cool for me to go, so i did.
before i went, i decided i should talk to Anna about my strange ways and my tendency for nudity. i mostly wanted to make sure she was ok with the fact id be sleeping nude (as i almost always do) and didnt want her to get freaked out if i was more casual than a "normal" person would be about being nude in the room we were sharing (i didnt plan on walking around naked but i can sometimes be half way through changing and start putting stuff away in the closet and forget i dont have clothes on, and i didnt want her to take that wrong).
so anywayl i got up the nerve and talked to her about it and she was actually totally cool about it and treated it like it was no big deal at all. so that was a major load off.
what happened then was totally without me asking, she told her parents about it. that wasnt sumthin id thought shed do but i guess it was so not a problem for her that she dropped it on them casually.
anyway, Annas parents totally misunderstood why she was telling them and thought she was asking if it was ok for me to go naked round the villa when we were on holiday! which would have been kinda embarassing, but aparently they talked about it and said it would be OK!!!!
so Anna came back and was like "my mum and dad are cool with you being naked round the villa if you and to be" and i was like "what??" and didnt beleive her at first at all.
but she swore it was true and asked her mum again when i was there and she said if i was comftable with it then it was ok. she said shed be sunbathin topless and they couldnt think of any reason why i should have to wear clothes there if i was more comftable withougt.
anyway, we spent all the first day getting there and arrived in the evening. i didnt take my clothes off then, i was pretty tired so went to bed not long after. but in the morning i got up and i was first up. so i went out without getting dressed and sat on the big seat we had on the patio and just chilled out for a bit.
i knew i wanted to go through with it coz id never get another opportunity like this but i was still realy nervous. thats why i went outside, i kinda felt like with being naked id be automaticly diferent to everybody else and didnt want to feel like a freak on display. i couldve gone and put my clothes on but i knew if i got over this i would have the best time.
and by going outside it at least meant i wasnt standing there naked in a room full of clothed people which woulkdve made me feel doubly weird. i wasnt so bothered about Annas mum and sister, and Anna didnt bother me at all coz id been naked in our room with her already. but i was nervous of being around her dad, just coz id never been naked in front of a guy before, and not even my dad for a long time.
anyway after a bit Annas mum came out and that was that. she was totally cool and nice to me and it wasnt any different to when id had clothes on. Anna came out and we hung out and then her dad came out too, and it was nowhere near as bad as i thought. i bet i blushed a bit but he was totally cool too. at first you could tell he was trying not to stare but after a bit he just forgot about that and we all chatted together. then we all had breakfast on the patio and by the time wed finished it was all like no big deal at all.
the only odd reaction was Bethany, Annas sister (shes 5). she loves me, but when i went in the house to help get the breakfast things she was in there and when she saw i was naked she went all shy and wouldnt speak to me. after a bit she got over it and was like normal again. i guess no one had told her i might be naked!
so from then on most of the rest of the time we were in the villa i didnt have clothes on. i didnt feel underdressed coz everyone else was in swimwear or similar most of the rest of the time, coz it was really hot. Anna and her mum wore bikinis, her dad just wore shorts and Bethany ran round in just bottoms or naked herself. sometmes i wore a sarong and sometimes i wore nothing at all. oh and in the evenings if we were still outside i usualy just wrapped myslef in a blanket.
the villa didnt have its own pool tho, so i couldnt swim nude:( we had to walk up the road to a shared pool. which was ok but not private so i had to get dressed. also, the beach wasnt clothing-optional so i wore my bikini there too. but round the villa i had total freedom, it was a really awesome holiday. |
